Ferraino, born from the hands and heart of family, is a reflection of the legacy left by my grandfather, Filippo Ferraino. He was a skilled tailor from Palermo, Sicily, whose life was marked by discipline, devotion, and craftsmanship. As a veteran of the Italian military and a faithful Catholic, his work wasn’t just technical; it was spiritual. He brought that same spirit with him when he immigrated to the United States, and it’s that legacy I carry forward.
Our work is shaped by more than family. It’s influenced by the deep history of our culture. The story of Ferraino is tied to the legacy of Italy and Sicily, from their ancient Greek foundations to the rise of Rome, from the Catholic Church’s spiritual authority to the philosophers whose ideas shaped Western thought. These roots inform our worldview and guide our design, grounded in tradition, elevated by meaning, and built to last.
Every piece we create is built with intention. We aim to marry the old with the new, form with function, principle with beauty. Our work is a testament to the belief that style can hold meaning, that clothing can carry memory, and that design can express not just who we are, but where we come from.
